About Our Classes and Workshops Gathering with the Angels offers classes with the intention of healing, empowering and informing participants, and assisting them on their spiritual journeys. Classes are angel-centered in content, and give individuals who resonate with the angels a chance to learn more about the angels and Archangels, put them to work in our everyday lives and access their profound knowledge and power for ourselves and our loved ones.

WRITING FOR YOUR LIFE Barter/Scholarship Position Available View DETAILS Whether you wish to write a memoir, a blog, the great American novel or document your personal and spiritual journey, this course is for you. We will use Natalie Goldberg’s Writing Down the Bones as our touchstone text. As Anne Lamont wrote in Bird by Bird, about writing:
This is a place and time for you to write without judgment, and tap into your muse or inspiration, as well as sharing with others according to your comfort level. The class will meet for six Tuesdays every two weeks to give you time to think, write, edit, write and write some more. Please arrive promptly and be prepared to use all available time dedicated to the writing process and exercises to open your creative spirit. You are encouraged to bring a (brief) piece of writing to share with others to the first class if you wish, notebook and pen. If you are more comfortable typing, feel free to bring a laptop instead.

SPIRITUAL BOOK CIRCLE We continue our spiritual journey with Sonia Choquette’s book, Your Heart’s Desire: Instructions for Creating the Life You Really Want. New attendees welcome! We will use Choquette’s book, in workbook format, as our touchstone text and consider Sonia’s steps and recommendations for achieving the peaceful, fulfilling life you desire while discerning and refining our own personal process in this quest. Classes will include thought-provoking discussion, humor, affirmations and meditations. Class will meet on one Friday per month starting in January and run through June. All future meeting times will be established by group members.

CANDLEMAS We will celebrate this ancient festival to remind us of the light in the midst of winter and call in our spiritual light. Please join us for guided meditation, and reaffirmation of our intentions for the still newly minted year, and refreshments.

HEALING CIRCLE Come sit in our healing circle and receive hands-on healing for you, or sit in proxy for someone else in need of physical, emotional or spiritual healing. Held one day per month, we invite you to join us in the circle and receive hands-on healing for you, or sit in proxy for someone else in need of physical, emotional or spiritual healing. You may also sit outside the circle and receive a healing, or use the time for meditation or prayer. This is a quiet, meditative time to put our worldly concerns aside for a while and absorb positive, peaceful energy. I will use several non-invasive healing modalities such as Reiki, Magnified Healing, IET and others. The method isn’t important; it’s your willingness to be open and your intention. The approach is gentle and meant to put you at ease. The circle will begin at 7:30 and will last 1 to 1-1/2 hours depending on the number of participants. Participants may begin arriving at 7:15. A $10 donation is requested, but not required for this event. An RSVP the day prior to the circle is requested.

ARCHANGEL MICHAEL GUIDED MEDITATION Focusing on the strength and protection of Archangel Michael, we will proceed through a guided meditation with music chosen specifically for this process. Together we will journey with Archangel Michael as our guide to focus on our core spiritual selves and connect with God and our higher guidance to achieve peace and discernment, and clear away those things that no longer serve us.

SPIRITUAL TAROT PART I Barter/Scholarship Position Available View DETAILS Using a Jungian approach to the Tarot as archetypal figures of the human experience, the work of other experts, and my experiences of studying and accessing the Tarot for over 30 years, we will explore it as a way of learning about our personal journey and refining our discernment processes. This segment of the workshop will focus on the Major Arcana, viewing it from a spiritual perspective and how our guidance can speak to us through this tool. We will learn the importance of and methods for protection and clearing when doing any spiritual work, as well as the cards, their symbols and the story they tell. We will use the Hudes Tarot deck and accompanying book which may be purchased through me for $25 or you may purchase the set on your own. Purchase of the deck is required. One bartering position or scholarship is available for anyone who may find it cost prohibitive. A certificate of participation is available after completing 2 brief assignments and paying a processing fee of $10.00 if desired, but is not required for attendance. Part II of this course Exploring the Minor Arcana, scheduled to begin in June. Also comes with a certificate of participation if requested.

MAGNIFIED HEALING Come and experience this gentle but powerful healing modality given to us from Ascended Master Quan Yin. Attendees will be taken through the process step by step to experience the healing peace and power of this wonderful gift. Attendees may then decide to continue on to learn Magnified Healing Level I if they wish.
PLEASE NOTE Classes will be cancelled due to inclement winter weather conditions. Please furnish the most efficient way to contact you if this occurs, or in the event of an emergency, either yours or mine - whether you are signing up by email or phone. All attempts will be made to reschedule to accommodate all attendees. Fees may be applied to future classes if you cannot attend a particular workshop for which you have signed up. Cost of any workshop minus 10% will be refunded if after the first session you no longer wish to attend. Materials expenses, i.e., books, cards, cannot be refunded. In inclement weather, participants will be asked to remove their boots/shoes unless some special circumstances require you to wear shoes. New fluffy socks are made available gratis for you to use/keep or you may bring slippers or other indoor-only footwear. Your honoring this request is greatly appreciated.
